Sepulveda Basin & LA River Naturalization

Focusing on much large scale urban infrastructure systems our studio focused on the LA river and it's flood control system Sepulveda basin. My project was directly focused on re-naturalization of the highly channelized, concretized LA river system. using a digital, physical, back to digital workflow, I was allowed to test various land form and their river morphologies, while also testing them in real time through a physical simulation test. I was also able to balance design through grounded empirical data sourcing through the use of various softwares such as rhino, grasshopper, and Arc GIS.
